Your MICE web booking tool has been configured, the profile has been activated and the profile checklist has been successfully processed. Now is the time to offer your booking engine to your customers by placing it on your website in order to receive direct bookings.
Visibility is the key
To guarantee maximum visibility and therefore generate bookings, the booking engine should be embedded on your hotel website in a striking and user-friendly way.
If your website is maintained by an agency, simply send the link to your MICE web booking engine and ask them to find it a good place on your website and publish it. You can find the link in the MICE.Webbooking section in the Admin area of your MeetingMarket Extranet.
1 - Positioning the link
Consider where exactly on your website it would make sense to place your booking engine. Our experience shows that the following locations stand out in particular:
- Header bar
- Home page
- In the "meeting" section of your site
However, since each website is very individual, there may also be additional locations which we have not listed.
2 - Type of positioning
There are many ways to make the booking engine visible, but existing partners have found the following options very effective:
a) Booking widget:
The best solution is to place/integrate a booking widget. This ensures high visibility and ease of use for your customers.

b) Link button:
Depending on the color choice and position, a button can also be a good way to attract your customer to your service.

c) Header link
Placing your booking engine in the header of your website guarantees high visibility and constant accessibility.
3 - The right choice of words
No matter what type of placement you select, a clear and meaningful phrase is crucial. Here are some examples:
- “Check rates and availability here”
- “Book this meeting online either with or without guest rooms”
- “We have meeting rooms available. Check availability here!”
