As part of different system workflows, your MICE software sends a number of different emails to relevant recipient groups. The following article lists these email types and explains to which recipient groups they will be sent.
Basically we distinguish between 3 different recipient groups, to which automated emails are sent at certain times and as a result of respective user behaviour.
- The customer/booker:
Emails are sent to the email address stored in the booking process.
- The hosting location:
Mails are sent to the email address stored in the user profile of the extranet.
- Booking platform support team:
Depending on the booking platform (chain-whitelabel, single location, affiliate partner, Expedia marketplace) the customer/booker will be shown a so-called "Support & Service - email address". To change this address, please contact your account manager or our partner support.
Emails based on workflow
Depending on workflow and user behaviour, your MICE software sends various automatic emails. The following table lists these emails sorted by workflow and user behaviour and shows the corresponding recipient and the subject of the corresponding email.
It is also shown whether a copy of the email is automatically forwarded to the appropriate support team, and what the recommended follow-up action is.
